What is Suboxone?

Suboxone is a prescription medication that combines buprenorphine and naloxone. It is used to treat opioid use disorder. It reduces cravings and withdrawal symptoms, which helps people stabilize and focus on recovery.

How treatment works

  • Evaluation. Suboxone treatment is provided by Tzipporah Vannorman, PA. She reviews your history, current use, health and goals.
  • Starting treatment. Your provider explains how and when to begin the medication safely.
  • Regular follow-up. Frequent visits early on, then less often as you stabilize. Visits may include check-ins and testing.
  • Whole-person care. We can address pain, anxiety, depression and other health needs in the same practice, and refer you to counseling or support programs.
